Jamisyn Baker of Rutland, daughter of Colby and Heather Baker, and student at Rutland High School took the crown of Miss Vermont Teen USA 2021. She plans to spend her year reign promoting her personal platform, "Purple Warriors" raising money to end Alzheimer's while preparing for the Miss Teen USA national competition. Jamisyn is active in the Spanish Honor Society and is a Frozen Volunteer. Her hobbies include cheerleading and working to promote Alzheimer's awareness through her social platform. She works with Walk to End Alzheimer's to get local high schools to include volunteering to be counted as community service hours for attending the walk.

Our 2021 Competition

GDB Theatre & Pageant Production, LLC is proud to announce that on Sunday, June 6, 2021, seven beautiful young women competed for the title of Miss Vermont Teen USA 2021. Jamisyn Baker, 15, was crowned by Kiera Pipeling, Miss Vermont Teen USA 2020, at the Spruce Peak Performing Arts Center in Stowe, VT. Contestants were judged in three categories consisting of Personal Interview, Active Wear, and Evening Gown. The competitions shined a spotlight on some of the best, brightest, and most accomplished young women throughout the state. She was joined by 1st runner up- Theresa Culpo; 2nd runner up- Madison Spafford; 3rd runner up - Olivia Venkus; and 4th runner up - Kiara LaPenna. Miss Photogenic award was awarded to Jamisyn Baker. While the congeniality award was voted on by all the contestants, it was awarded to Hannah Karki.

Titleholders travel throughout Vermont, making appearances and acting as ambassadors of the state at a variety of charitable events, social functions, and more.
